Tide Bank

Due to open banking requirements in the UK, Tide has had to remove its direct data feed to IPA Books+. We are currently working with the UK regulatory authorities to become accredited with the aim of re-establishing this feed ourselves. In the short-term please use these instructions to upload your data to IPA Books+.

All current mutual Tide/Reckon customers will be contacted directly. If you have not received an email from us please contact our support (see help within IPA Books+) .

Importing a Tide CSV file to IPA Books+

With IPA Books+ you can easily import a Tide Banking CSV bank statement by using the manual upload process. To do this, follow these simple steps.

  1. Log into Tide Banking and export transactions for the required period. Choose the ‘standard’ export format.
  2. Export the file to a location accessible using IPA Books+ (e.g. Dropbox). Have a quick check to ensure its in the CSV format.
You can rename the file and end with .csv to quickly set the correct format.
  1. In IPA Books+ go to the Bank Accounts overview, click on Actions then Upload transactions.

  1. Click on Select file and find the Tide Banking file, then click Import the file.

  1. The first time you import a file, you will need to match up columns to IPA Books+. Copy the selection below for Tide Banking:
  2. The imported bank entries will appear on the New tab of the selected bank account.

A new Tide Banking file import will overwrite any remaining bank transactions that are yet to be processed. So always complete your current Tide Banking file before moving on to the next.
