Changing from a Single Sign In Login to a Username/Password one

Changing from a Single Sign On login eg. Google/Office365 to a regular login

The IPA Books+ Portal currently supports both Microsoft Office 365 and Google single sign on accounts. This can make it easier for you to login and not have to deal with a username and password combination. However using a Single Sign On login at the current time can restrict you from certain functionality such as logging into our mobile applications. To resolve this you can change from a Single Sign In login to a regular username and password login easily within the Portal.

Please note that once you change from a Single Sign In login to a username and password combination login, you are unable to switch back to a Single Sign In login without starting a new account.

Changing your login type

To change your login type follow these steps.

  1. Login to the customer portal with either your Google or Microsoft 365 login at portal.ipabooksplus.com and click the user icon in the top right hand side of the screen.

  1. Click the Revoke SSO button. This button will only appear if you have logged in with either Google or Microsoft Office 365.

  1. The customer portal will then warn you that the change is irreversible. Click Yes to continue or Cancel to keep using a single sign in login.

  1. Once you have clicked Yes, your account will be switched to a username and email based account and a password reset email will be sent to your account. For example if you had logged in as "portaldevtestsso01@gmail.com", the password reset email will be sent there.
  2. After you have set up a password from the link within the email, your account will be switched over and all functionality, including the mobile applications, available to you depending on your current subscriptions. Enter your email address and new password set up on step 4 to sign into portal.ipabooksplus.com.
