Question

Why doesn't my Record Income: Interest/Coupon transfer out correctly?

Answer

When an Easy Actions-Income Event is recorded and Interest/Coupon is the only Distribution with an assigned value the amount will not transfer out to the selected transfer account. The amount will remain in the investment account.

To resolve this, please do the following:

  1. After the Income Event has been recorded find the transaction in the investment account register.
  2. Change the type of 'Action' for this transaction from 'IntInc' to 'IntIncX'.
  3. Enter the transfer account into the 'Xfer Acct' field and click Enter.

The transaction will now record the income event and transfer in one single transaction.
