Removing the Closing Date password on Reckon Accounts desktop or Hosted

Login to the data file as the default Admin user with the username Admin and the associated password.

You can then remove the Closing Date password.

Click on the Edit menu then Preferences.

Then go to the Accounting section.

Then go to the Company Preferences section.

Click the Set Date/Password button.

Remove the currently set password and then click the OK button.
