Receipts

What does "Receipt Number" mean when Setting up Receipts in Reckon Cloud POS?

The "Receipt Number" refers to the next receipt number that will be generated by the system when you print a receipt. If you are coming from another POS system and your last receipt on that system was 520, then you would enter 521 so that your records are kept accurately. If you are a new business, you can use 1.

To access this in the settings, navigate to the Management System > Preferences > Receipt

How to Disable your Chrome Print Preview for a Faster Checkout

The first thing you will need to do is create a shortcut for Google Chrome on your desktop

Once you have created this shortcut, right click on the bottom and select "Properties"

When "Google Chrome Properties" opens up select the "Shortcut" tab and next to "Target" add "  --kiosk-printing" (NOTE: there are two spaces before the two dashes). Press "Apply" then press ok. Now when you open Chrome using this shortcut your Print Preview screen will be disabled.
