This program might not have installed correctly message when starting the Payroll Premier

Question

Why do I get the error: “This program might not have installed correctly” when I start the Payroll Premier install process?

Answer

Click on “This program installed correctly” and continue.

The Issue

This message is a benign message.

We have experienced this message on PCs with previous installations of Payroll Premier but not on PCs with no previous Payroll Premier installations.

We have found that proceeding will result in a successful installation.

 

Workaround

Click on “This program installed correctly” and continue with the installation.

 

If the installation fails to proceed then reboot your PC and try again.

If the installation still fails to proceed, call Technical Support for further assistance.
